1950's Mullard BVA Made in England ECC82 long-plates ..."
Its performance was off-the-charts in two separate listenings for this report. The bass is deep, sumptuously textured, and full-bodied, and powerful. The midrange displays prominent secondary and third octave nuances, the tube has enormous layers of harmonic depth as well as a liquid sonic midrange texture. The highs are sweet and pure and true to life. Very compelling tube providing no ear fatigue.”...

OLD WORLD MULLARD ECC82 12AU7 low-noise perfect pair NOS from 1956-57' tubes - LONG PLATE DESIGN for that smooth quiet musical sound reproduction with true to life bass and midrange boost.

These tubes actually sound better than the Telefunken Ulm W.Germany ECC802S which in my opinion exhibits a "compressed" sound-stage and THE ECC802S do sound more sterile, and not as musical as the 1950's Mullard 12AU7/ECC82 long-plates. That's because the ECC802S was developed for Broadcast stations that require a "compressed" signal for radio in cars and homes that sometimes only had a single speaker!

The Serial Numbers are K61 B6H (1956) and
K61 B7K (1957) both with matching K61 factory numbers.

Amplitrex AT-1000 test results: zero (0) heater-to-cathode leaks & zero (0) microphonics.

These are RARE and never to be seen again with these stellar test measurements which are tight and quiet.
