When Telefunken of Western Germany closed their production factories they still had a demand for their ECC803S audio tubes. Where better then to source an alternative than
Mullard in the U.K.? Telefunken ordered a very limited supply of these beauties and these Telefunken non-diamond bottom ECC803S Mullard tubes are extinct.  We are releasing only one (1)
rare pair from the Tube Museum for one lucky audiophile to enjoy.

Mullard Mitcham acid codes R9B1and R8G4

Mitcham
Mullard opened a new manufacturing plant at Mitcham, Surrey in 1929. A second building was added in 1936. Both buildings had a very distinctive flat roof construction and were very similar to those at Philips' headquarters in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Co-sited with the Mullard buildings was the manufacturing complex for Philips Radios. Mitcham was also home to the Mullard Application Laboratory.
