Platinum Low-Noise "Holy-Grails" Siemens TOP ECC802S tube was positioned against competitor Telefunken ECC802S. At the time Telefunken had the copywrite on the ECC802S number, so Siemens came out with their version, the E82CC. The Siemens E82CC / ECC802S tube is a lot more alive musically where the Telefunken ECC802S has a compressed neutral sound. If you want warmer midrange and extended highs the Siemens Halske E82CC is your choice!
